Sixtieth Wedding Anniversary

The Browns surprised us with a memorable Sixtieth Anniversary party on February 1, 2008. The real date is December 23. We were celebrating in El Paso at that time and this was the first date available here in North Carolina.

Our church friends, several of Bill's family and many other friends came to celebrate with us. It was a joyful evening for us.

Scott shared, we sang our favorite Hymn, May the Mind of Christ My Savior, several others shared and we ate lots of sweets and visited.

Claudia made the wedding cake. It was a pound cake just like the one she made for Kelly's wedding. However, she decorated our cake. Deborah had decorated Kelly's cake.

Thank you, Claudia, Blair and Deborah for a wonderful party.

New lives

Here are two of the three baby calves born last week. They are so different. One is gray, one is red and white and the other is black and white.

Thi s is the white bug we brought from Texas. It now has a new look inside and out and is now for sale.
