The Calvinistic preachers
Day one of the conference was spent listening to Scott and Andy Davis speak about the influence of the Calvinists in the founding of America.
We met at the Paul Revere Statue for the first part of the lectures. Some of the Reformers were David Brainard, George Tenent, William Tyndale, Martin Luther, John Winthrop, George Whitefield and of course, John Calvin and John Wycliffe
The heart of Calvin is the joy that grace is a gift of God.
Calvinism is simply biblical Christianity.
The group then walked past the Old North Church and on up to Copps Hill where several of the Mathers are buried. The Mather family were very influential in the Christian life and culture of the colonies.
