At one time Deborah's parents owned the large duplex on the right. It has five bedrooms on each side and of course a kitchen, dining, living combination on each side. So there is room for all. Now each year they rent it for the whole family to spend a week together. The whole family consists of 22 grandchildren. So it is a lively time. This year was special in that it was a continuation of their dad, Tom's birthday so we really feasted on steaks and shrimp and all the accompaning goodies.
Tom and Carol own the small house in the middle and spend many days of recuperation and rest there during the year.
This is the view from the top deck.
The ever industrious Deborah.
Brothers, Dale and Dean were usually fishing. The main catch was sand shark which excited all the children.
Then the real sharks began to appear. David following one in his "safe" kayak. There were two that played along the shore.
There were several of the sharks about five feet long. Needless to say there was no one in the water for a long time.
The week that we were there the ocean was a "glassy sea". We have never experienced the ocean so calm for so long. It was great for the smaller children but the older ones wanted a bit more action.
There is always the temptation to dig a hole to China. It does occuppy hours in a dayl
A happy beach bum.
Braden Jones, the youngest of the Albright clan really knows how to enjoy the beach. Braden belongs to Darla and Steve.
